Hot Wheels and F1
Formula 1 continues on the path of commercial agreements with large companies in the toy sector. After signing with the Lego from a few weeks ago, now Liberty Media has made a deal partnership with Mattel for the marketing of F1-themed Hot Wheels toy cars. The first fruit of this new official collaboration will be a model already available by the end of the year, which will broadly follow the shapes of the show car used as a concept to present the current regulations for ground effect single-seaters.
F1 team models arrive in 2025
The toy car will be a limited edition in 1:64 scale and made of die-cast metal. The special livery, white with red, silver and black inserts, is designed by Mattel Creations and also includes two sets of interchangeable tires with the traditional Pirelli colored bands. The number 68 on the nose is a way to celebrate the year in which the Hot Wheels brand entered the toy market.
However, this is not the only news for younger fans and collectors. Starting from 2025, in fact, Hot Wheels will market specific models with the shapes and liveries of the official single-seaters of the individual Formula 1 teams. A perfect way to satisfy and retain an increasingly younger audience of enthusiasts.
