Ciudad Juárez—In the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR), through its Federal Prosecutor’s Office in Chihuahua, during the month of September 2024, 75 people were placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry for various federal crimes and 140 files were initiated investigation: 53 with detainee and 87 without detainee; In addition, 88 investigation files were prosecuted: 40 with a detainee and 48 files without a detainee.
In the criminal process, 41 links to proceedings were obtained for 43 people and 14 people were sentenced in an abbreviated procedure, out of a total of 13 files.
As a result of the ministerial action carried out by the prosecutors of the various investigation units, 95 percent effectiveness was obtained in hearings involving people detained for the various acts that the law indicates as crimes.
Derived from the preventive actions of the three levels of government, in the month of September 38 short weapons, 37 long weapons, 7,355 ammunition and 111 firearm magazines were seized. The amount of 10 thousand pesos was also secured.
Regarding narcotics: 293 kilos 626 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of cocaine, two kilos 375 grams of methamphetamine, 29 units of psychotropic drugs were seized, as well as 73,891 units and three kilos 360 grams of fentanyl.
In actions carried out by the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), investigation techniques consisting of five searches, issued by the judicial authority, were completed.
In addition, two arrests in flagrante delicto and the abolition of 267 ministerial orders and 18 judicial orders through arrest and re-arrest orders.
Through the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms, the amount of three million 157 thousand 421 pesos was obtained for damage repair, as well as the execution of six reparation agreements, of which two reparation agreements are deferred compliance and four immediate compliance.
The Single Customer Service Window served 1,853 users who came to request a service at the federal headquarters and sub-headquarters.
