MotoGP presents a new brand
The 2024 World Cup is not over yet and is actually entering the very hot phase, but the MotoGP already think about the future. The most important two-wheel world championship will present the new “brand identity” on Sunday 17 November at 7pm.
The date is not coincidental, because it is the evening of the “grand finale” of the Ricardo Tormo, the last round of the World Championship which is seeing a very close duel between Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, with Marc Marquez the luxury third wheel.
After the curtain closes on the 2024 competitions, there will be an awards ceremony for today’s champions and the first glimpse of tomorrow’s MotoGP. The new one brand identity is the result of collaboration with the largest independent design studio in the world, Pentagram, and over a year of research conducted among fans, drivers and key people of the sport.
MotoGP, it should be remembered, was acquired in April by Liberty Media (already the holder of the commercial rights of F1), but the “passage” must receive the approval of the European Union Antitrust Authority. It is possible that the presentation of the new brand is also linked to the entry of Americans into the world of two wheels.
