Chihuahua – The criminal group La Empresa would be behind the homicides of three people found in two clandestine graves in the area of El Sauz, and who they presume could be the ejidal commissioner of Nuevo Delicias, Rosa Lisbeth Montañez, as well as her husband and also that of a worker at a dispensing plant in this area, reported Attorney General César Jáuregui Moreno.
Officially, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported that the discovery of the graves, last Monday, October 7, occurred during a search following investigations into the homicide of three people on the El Indio Victorio hill plateau, at kilometer 46+500 of the Chihuahua-Juárez highway. The two clandestine graves contained three bodies in a state of decomposition and their location required the use of drones, the helicopter of the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM) and support from the K-9 Group. The attorney general said that there are indications that it could be the ejidal commissioner Rosa Lisbeth and her partner, Uriel Jacobo Trejo, who disappeared since last September 1 of this year, and noted that they have made progress in the investigations to determine the criminal group. behind these homicides, which are related to the dispute for control of the “huachicoleo” in this area. “We do know which group is behind the homicides, based on evidence they collected at the scene,” he said and specified that it is La Empresa, a group that is part of La Línea. Regarding the presumption that the bodies are those of people who disappeared more than a month ago, Jáuregui emphasized that it will be until they have the expert results when they can make the identity of the victims official. In addition, the bodies were dismembered, so it will be necessary for forensic doctors to individualize each one in order to take the necessary samples.
