As per tradition, Sony has unveiled the most downloaded games from PlayStation Store for the month of September on PS4 and PS5with the usual rankings that tell us which games were most purchased digitally on the two consoles last month.
What we can see is a clear predominance of sports games in USA and Europe, considering that the most downloaded game for the first territory was NBA 2K25, while for Europe it is EA Sports FC 25, as usual.
The performance of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is also noteworthy, reaching second position in the USA and third in Europe, somewhat surprising considering that it is certainly a very well-known franchise but which could be considered niche. Evidently, this is not the case for many players.
Sports games dominate
