Hamas Ministry of Health, deaths in Gaza are over 42,000
Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry said at least 42,010 people have been killed in the war between Israel and Palestinian militants. The toll includes 45 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the ministry, which said 97,720 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the war began, when Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.
Lebanon, around 59,000 fleeing from the south and east towards the north
The Northern Lebanon Disaster Management Committee has announced that at least 58,898 displaced people fleeing Israeli attacks in the south and east of the country have sought refuge in the northern districts: Al Jazeera reports. In particular, the Committee mentioned the areas of Bcharre, El Batroun, El Koura, El Minieh-Dennie, Tripoli and Zgharta. Only 14,267 of them are hosted in official shelters.
