The Pass.- This Barbie is a human trafficker. A member of the Tren de Aragua gang, with numerous tattoos, is accused of running a sex trafficking operation from a hotel in a border town that the gang took over, according to a leaked Border Patrol memo obtained by The New York Post.
At least one victim alleged that Estefanía Primera, an illegal Venezuelan migrant known on the streets as “La Barbie,” drugged her and brought in men to gang-rape her while she was unconscious, according to court documents.
Primera was arrested in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 27 after she was seen with her five young children, according to the memo.
“La Barbie” allegedly operated out of the local Gateway Hotel, which El Paso authorities recently closed following multiple complaints about criminal acts.
A victim of human trafficking allegedly named Primera as the ringleader who directed prostitutes who were trafficked to the United States, according to the memo.
One of the victims told police that Primera drugged her several times with a pill containing fentanyl. The drugs made her lose consciousness. When she regained consciousness, she found several men having sex with her, according to court documents.
The woman said she suffered horrific injuries from the gang rape. When she tried to flee, “La Barbie” forced her to return to the hotel. He also punched and kicked her repeatedly, according to the documents.
Members of the Aragua Train, most of whom have entered the United States through the El Paso border, have expanded their criminal operations throughout the country, engaging in arms trafficking, shootings, drug trafficking and human trafficking. .
The gang has been found to run forced prostitution rings in eight US states: California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Texas, where they are in debt from border smuggling costs, according to an internal memo from law enforcement previously obtained by The Post.
