Andrés Iniesta’s retirement from football aroused emotional reactions from all his teammates and former teammates on the different teams. Among them, Yerry Mina, defender of the Colombian National Team, sent him a heartfelt message on his social networks.
According to the criteria of
Mina coincided with Iniesta during the period in which the Colombian signed for the Spanish club in 2018 for a semester.
‘Thank you for your football’
Iniesta was an idol for Spanish football fans and is well remembered for episodes in his career such as the ‘Iniestazo’ in 2009 or the goal that gave the Spanish National Team the World Cup in 2010.
The Colombian defender remembered his Barcelona teammate through a message on his social networks in which he was very pleased with their time together.
“Grateful to God and very proud to have shared a dressing room and learned from you,” he mentions the farewell message he dedicated to him and in which he named him “Legend.”
Mina accompanied the publication with a photo with the midfielder and the Copa Del Rey. The two had time together in the field on three occasions.
Iniesta has received messages from many of his admirers and teammates in different clubs he has been to.
The Spanish legend managed to win 32 titles as one of the greatest leaders of FC Barcelona in the 16 seasons he wore the Blaugrana shirt.
Now, at 40 years old, he announced his retirement from football after passing through Japanese football and Arab football at the end of his career.
Yerry Mina, for his part, is concentrated with the Colombian National Team in Cochabamba ahead of the match against Bolivia and the next match against Chile in Barranquilla.
