Government appealed to release the disclosure; the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services has already published the result
Judge Carlos Augusto Pires Brandão, from TRF1 (Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region), in Brasília, suspended this Tuesday (8.Oct.2024) the decision that prevented the publication of the results of the tests of block 4 of the CNU (Unified National Competition), held throughout Brazil in August of this year.
With the decision, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services released the result of the block notes.
Earlier, the AGU (Attorney General of the Union) filed an appeal to release the results of block 4.
The decision suspending the disclosure was handed down on October 3rd by the court of the 14th Civil Court of the Federal District and was motivated by a popular action that contested the alleged leak of the block’s evidence, which contained questions about Work and Workers’ Health.
The alleged leak would have taken place at a high school in Recife. According to the lawsuit, the test inspectors on the morning shift mistakenly opened the sealed package with evidence from the afternoon shift.
The tests were distributed to candidates, who filled in the identification fields and began solving the questions. The error was then noticed by bank inspectors. Cesgranrioand the evidence was collected.
When analyzing the appeal, Carlos Augusto Pires Brandão understood that the mistake was duly “identified and remedied”. For the magistrate, the episode did not compromise the application of the evidence.
“The mistake was duly identified and remedied, in addition to being recorded in the documents related to the application of the test, ensuring the transparency of the event. Despite the existence of the recognized failure at the time of application of the test, it is clear that the suspension of all effects of the Block 4 test, especially when all measures have been taken to guarantee the confidentiality of the information, is not in line with the principles of reasonableness and proportionality”he stated.
This Tuesday morning (October 8), the ministry made available the final grades of the objective tests and the preliminary grades of the CNU discursive and writing tests.
