At the request of Liliana Resinovich’s family, zoologist Nicola Bressi has drawn up a new report to understand how long the woman’s body had been in the grove where it was found.
By will of the family of Liliana Resinovichthe zoologist Nicola Bressi has drawn up a new report in order to study the behavior of the animals that populated the grove bordering the San Giovanni park. The place, that is, where investigators found the woman’s body, on January 5, 2022.
The purpose of this assessment was to understand how long the woman’s body had been there. In particular, if Liliana’s body had been in that place for some time or if was brought there shortly before being found.
Death of Liliana Resinovich: the response of the new expert opinion
The zoologist Nicola Bressi, who was trusted by Liliana Resinovich’s family to draw up the new report, presented the results obtained from his study to the newspaper “The Little One”.
The expert specified that the woman’s body was where it was found from no more than a dayconsidering the many animals that populate the area.
These are his words:
“I was born in that district, I know that area particularly well and the animals that populate it, which is directly connected to the Karst. The body was right along a path used by wild boars, but also by foxes, to reach the park.”
Nicola Bressi then deduced the following:
“It follows that it is highly unlikely that that body, meat in all respects for an animal, could have remained there for twenty days, not even for a single week, without any animal having taken a bite or, out of curiosity, having slightly moved the bags, to smell, to understand what was underneath there”.
The announcement of the new appraisal has already been circulating for the past few weeks thanks to the president of the association Penelope, Nicodemus Gentile as well as lawyer of the victim’s brother, Sergio Resinovich:
“It will demonstrate how anomalous it is that Liliana Resinovich’s body, once found, had no wounds from animal bites, given that that wooded area is populated by wild boars and small rodents”.
