Harris and Trump will hold campaign events in the swing state of Arizona
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump will hold campaign events in the swing state of Arizona within a couple of days of each other amid nearly equal numbers in public opinion polls, writes RIA Novosti.
“On Thursday, October 10th, Harris will travel to Phoenix, Arizona, the day after early voting and mail-in ballots begin, for a campaign rally where she will encourage Arizonans to come out and vote,” Kamala Harris’ campaign said in a letter.
In turn, Donald Trump will speak in Arizona on October 13, in the city of Prescott Valley. At the same time, Republican vice-presidential candidate James David Vance is scheduled to speak in Tucson on October 9.
According to the latest leading polls of voters in the United States, Trump leads Harris in Arizona by an average of two to three percentage points, which is inconsequential when the margin of error is taken into account.
Earlier, The New York Times (NYT) wrote that Americans consider Donald Trump a strong leader, and his Kamala Harris is funny. The publication’s journalists referred to their own public opinion poll. In particular, 48 percent of respondents described Trump as a strong leader, while Harris – about 45 percent.
On October 7, the former US President called Kamala Harris a liar and a person with a low IQ. Trump also accused Harris of lacking independence. He said she always says what “other people tell her to say,” adding that Harris rarely gives interviews.
