A survey carried out with candidates and winners in the capitals shows that expenses totaled R$ 298.3 million in the 1st round
Guilherme Boulos (Psol) was the one that spent the most in the 1st round among the candidates for mayors of elected capitals and those going to the 2nd round. He disbursed R$46.15 million and will compete for the position of mayor with Ricardo Nunes (MDB), which was the 2nd highest expenser in the electoral campaign (R$ 29.68 million).
The survey was carried out by Power360 based on data from the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) released until October 7, 2024 at 0:30 am. It only considered those who won the election in the 1st round and those who went to the 2nd round in the capitals. In total, 41 candidates spent R$ 298.3 million in electoral campaigns.
Altogether, the expenses of candidates in the capital of São Paulo represent 25.4% of everything disbursed in the country.
Cristina Graeml (PMB-PR) candidate for Mayor of Curitiba went to the 2nd round and spent R$6,197. He was the one who spent the least on the electoral campaign. Your competitor Eduardo Pimentel (PSD-PR), disbursed R$10.45 million.

PROPORTIONAL VOTES
Candidate Janad Valcari (PL-TO) was the one who spent the most in proportion to the number of votes obtained. He spent R$127 for each Palmas vote. She will go to the 2nd round against Eduardo Siqueira Campos(Podemos-TO), which disbursed R$33.36 for each vote obtained.
Cristina Graeml spent R$0.02 for each vote obtained in the 1st round in the Curitiba City Council elections. Tião Bocalom spent R$4.60 per vote and was the elected candidate who invested the least resources in the 1st round in the capitals.
The 17 candidates who spent the most in proportional terms in the 1st round were not elected and will continue to compete for the corresponding mayorship. Topázio (PSD-SC) disbursed the equivalent of R$27.71 per vote and was the elected candidate who had the most expenses in the 1st round.
