Apparently the PC version of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is locked at 60 fps and suffers from some uncertainty in terms of optimization: this is what emerges from the first testimonies of those who purchased the game on the Windows platform, perhaps hoping to be able to send it at high frame rates.
The graphics options available seem to be typical of the tie-ins produced by Bandai Namco, with a handful of qualitative presets and fine adjustments in addition to the choice of resolution and a scaler that can reduce it compared to the output, in case you have hardware underperforming.
Upscaling technologies such as DLSS and FSR are currently missing, which could help a lot from this point of view, but above all it seems that it makes no difference whether to activate vertical synchronization or not, given that the game cannot go beyond 60 frames per second.
Furthermore, they are noticeable in the videos some uncertainties in terms of performance when our character performs special attacks emitting energy waves, which can cause the frames to drop even significantly.
Updates coming soon?
Considering the fact that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero immediately reached the top of the Steam rankings, we imagine that these aspects will quickly become a priority issue for users who purchased the game and who did not expect it to have the frame rate locked.
We will therefore see how the developers will behave, if updates coming soon they will resolve the uncertainties currently present and above all if it is decided to remove this block for the benefit of those who own a certain level of hardware and would like to be able to exploit it.
