Marina Helana (Novo) declared support for Ricardo Nunes (MDB) this afternoon, Monday, 7th and announced support for the emedebista in the second round. The candidate who participated in the race for the first round of municipal elections in São Paulo met with the current mayor and councilor elected by Novo, Cris Monteiro, in a meeting held at the Joelma Building, located in the city center.
The economist said that her support for Emedebista is aligned with the fundamental agenda of the Novo party, highlighting the focus on transparency and fiscal responsibility. “São Paulo cannot fall into the hands of Guilherme Boulos (PSOL). That’s why my full support for Mayor Ricardo Nunes in the second round. As a mother and breastfeeding mother, I asked for a special commitment to our children” said Marina.
Marina left the race for Mayor with 84,212 votes, equivalent to 1.38% in the election. Nunes will compete with Guilherme Boulos in the second round, scheduled for October 27th.
She also said that with support from Nunes, she hopes to be able, alongside councilor Cris Monteiro, to reinforce her position and intention to collaborate with issues in municipal education. During the first round of elections, the economist brought as a proposal for education the idea of handing over the management of public schools to private education networks.
