Jokeri’s audience target per match is 3,900 spectators, of which 2,700 are individual tickets.

The team will next play at home on Thursday against IPK. According to Saarni, the club is behind the ticket sales goal for the match.

“At the moment, in addition to season tickets, we have sold 972 individual tickets for the IPK match, and the box office for the match has 14,310 euros. However, our goal is to sell a total of 2,700 loose tickets, which means we still need to sell 1,728 more tickets to reach the (game-specific) overall goal of 42,477 euros,” says Saarni.

Match events ticket sales have become a topic of conversation in Finnish ice hockey in recent weeks. In the domestic League, the audience numbers in the early season have remained worryingly small.

According to Saarni, behind the writing that goes into details is the desire to be open even in the face of challenges.

Jokeri’s early season matches have managed to attract people to the stands. So far, the average audience for the club’s home matches is more than 5,000 spectators.
