Increasingly rich grid
After the Formula 3 championship ended last September, the starting line-up for next season is slowly starting to take shape. After the announcements today of Brando Badoer in Prema, Inthraphuvasak in Campos and Strømsted in Trident, the other two teams who made their drivers official were ART Grand Prix and Hitech.
Van Hoepen’s renewal
In the first case it is an absolute reconfirmation, with the French house having decided to renew with Laurens van Hoepen also for 2025. After three podiums and a pole position won, the Dutchman will remain in the team also next year, commenting on the team’s decision as follows: “I am really excited to continue working with ART Grand Prix for the 2025 season. We have built a solid foundation together this year and I feel ready to take on the new challenges that the next era of Formula 3 will bring. The team has been incredible in supporting my development and I am confident that we can do great things together in 2025.”. For ART Grand Prix, this is also the first official announcement awaiting the announcement of the next two drivers who will make up the line-up.
Between confirmations and promotions
Slightly different story at home Hitech. Also in this case, the British team has decided to renew Martinius Stenshornecombining the Norwegian with a new face like that of Gerrard Xie18-year-old Chinese national champion in Formula Renault Super Challenge and Chinese F4, with both titles obtained in 2022: “I’m excited to move to Formula 3 and to do it with Hitech – declared the Scandinavian driver’s new teammate – It’s been a positive season for me and the team in GB3 and I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved together. The results were there, but we also had some bad luck along the way which could have led to even greater success in both title fights. I feel ready and hope to play an important role in ensuring that Hitech’s challenge in F3 is as strong as it has been this season.”
