Trident looking for reconfirmations
Fresh from the victory in the Drivers’ championship with Leonardo Fornaroli from Piacenza, who next year will move to Formula 2 with the Invicta team, the Trident is inevitably reorganizing its line-up for the next Formula 3 season. In this way, the Milanese company has for now decided to focus on a lineup made up of a more experienced driver and a ‘rookie’, recently announced after the I arrive from the Jenzer team of a son of art like Charlie Wurz.
Stromsted arrives
This is the 17 year old Danish Noah Stromstedwho in reality had already participated with Campos in the last weekend of the F3 championship held in Monza. After his debut with single-seaters in Danish F4 in 2021, Strømsted made progress in Spanish F4 and in the latest edition of Formula Regional, with four podiums and overall performances that convinced Trident to focus on Scandinavian talent for the next championship .
The confirmation came directly from Giacomi Ricci, Team Manager of the Milanese house: “We are extremely happy to announce Noah Strømsted within our line-up for the 2025 season – he announced – we had the opportunity to try the Danish driver both on our test car and on our simulator and we immediately had excellent feedback. He is a very young driver, who from our point of view he is already very very mature. Noah was the best rookie in Formula Regional in 2024. He’s a young boy, with a great potential and with great growth possibilities. We are truly proud to have him on board in our F3 team and we are convinced that he will be able to be among the protagonists of the category in his rookie season.”
Great happiness also expressed by the official Danish driver, chosen as Wurz’s new teammate for 2025: “I am very happy to join Trident Motorsport and debut with the Italian team in Formula 3 – he added – no comments needed, their success in years past speaks for itself! I will work hard to be competitive from the start of the season and to help the Team as much as possible in the development of the new car. I would like to thank Trident Motorsport for the trust they have placed in me and for giving me this opportunity. I also thank, of course, my sponsors, my family, my coach and my management for making all this possible!”
