Torino confirmed this Monday that Zapata has compromised the ligaments and meniscus of that limb, so he will be away from the fields for between eight and ten months.
“The instrumental evaluations that Duván Zapata suffered have highlighted an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament, a medial meniscus and a lateral meniscus,” Torino said.
And he added: “The entire Turin football club warmly embraces Duván in the hope of seeing him as soon as possible on the field in the navy blue shirt.”
