A question came from a reader in which she said:
I am a divorced woman, and I have children who have been studying in private schools since kindergarten, but after the divorce, their father insisted on enrolling them in government schools, to evade paying fees, claiming that he would not be able to bear the expenses, and despite my attempts to convince him that this measure may harm our children due to the different curricula to which they are accustomed. On it, in addition to the difficulty of them adapting to the new school environment and establishing relationships with new friends, but he refused.. What should I do?
Answer
Legal Advisor Dr. Youssef Al-Sharif answers:
As long as the children are in private education from the beginning of their enrollment in education, this is evidence that their education in private schools is not burdensome for him, and this is the legal condition for forcing him to teach them private education and not government education, and you must provide proof that they were in private education from the beginning, and therefore your ex-husband’s request to transfer them to government education It represents harm to the children in custody and is harmful to the custodian, and you can ask the court to oblige him to return them to the same schools to which he had previously enrolled them, in order to ensure their stability and future education.
