Camila Giorgi to Verissimo: “Am I unreachable? This is the version they told. I never disappeared. I was in the USA”
Camila Giorgi she spoke again yesterday after months of silence in the last episode of Very true on Channel 5. The tennis player who chose to retire is still involved in a series of scandals related to vaccine for Covid-19 and some tax issues. His name had disappeared from the anti-doping list of the Wta and since he was not in Italy, many thought that the former tennis player had decided to flee abroad.
“Am I unattainable? This is the version they told. – he said Camila Giorgi to Silvia Toffanin – I never disappeared. I also wanted to make a farewell speech in Paris. Instead, the news of my farewell to professional tennis came out first. In May I woke up and decided to stop. I had already been thinking about quitting the racket for years.”
