Immediately after this, he returned to the cabin for one night, from which he returned to the victim’s apartment and brought his belongings with him. He left the car in the victim’s parking spot.
Next, the man told an acquaintance that the victim “had fallen asleep”, but he did not tell the authorities or the victim’s relatives. When the police started investigating the man’s disappearance the following spring, the accused man said that he had returned to Imatra with the victim.
Only last fall, an outsider found a skull in the area, which turned out to be the skull of the victim. Later, the victim’s clothes, sandals, phone and tibia were also found on the ground. The bones found had traces left by animals.
The prosecutor demands at least nine years in prison for the man for murder. The man has been imprisoned since last December. He has denied the act to the police.
Several people who have information about, among other things, the stories related to the victim of the accused man at different stages will be heard as witnesses. In addition, for example, the handler of the cadaver dog will be heard.
