Israeli Defense Minister Galant did not rule out attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant spoke about his readiness to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities if necessary. He gave his point of view on this issue designated in a conversation with CNN.
“All options are being discussed. We have proven that Israel has the ability to hit targets at close range and at long range. We will respond appropriately to Iran’s attack,” the minister said.
At the same time, the TV channel emphasized that Washington is categorically against attacks on the nuclear infrastructure of the Islamic Republic. According to Galant, the Jewish state is discussing its actions with the United States, but intends to independently make the final decision regarding the method of response to the attack from Iran.
Earlier, Israeli President Isaac Herzog called for the creation of an analogue of NATO in the Middle East in order to jointly counter Iran and radical groups. He also addressed residents of the region, declaring the need to confront Tehran and everyone who helps it.
