Ali Maali (Sharjah)
Sharjah maintained its lead in the ADNOC Professional League with the full mark, after defeating Al-Orouba 2-1 in the “fifth round” at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in the “Smiling Emirate”, and scored two goals for “King” Caio Lucas from two penalty kicks in the 58th and 69th minutes, and for “Al-Orouba” Substitute Abdullah Al-Amiri in the 84th minute, bringing Al-Malik’s score to 15 points, and Al-Orouba continues without a score so far.
Sharjah started attacking, relying on the presence of Caio Lucas, Kamara, and Luan Pereira, and Al-Orouba succeeded during the first half in eliminating the danger of Sharjah players.
In the second half, Sharjah opened the score with a goal in the 58th minute from a penalty kick converted by Caio Lucas, and two minutes later the referee expelled player Gabriel Kak from Al Orouba for receiving the second yellow card.
Abdullah Youssef, the goalkeeper of Al Orouba, commits a mistake with Khaled Al Dhanhani, and the referee awards him a second penalty kick, from which Caio scores the second goal for Sharjah in the 69th minute.
Al-Orouba did not give up despite the numerical deficiency, and succeeded in reducing the difference in the 84th minute through the “substitute” Abdullah Al-Amiri.
