Culiacán, Mexico.- The rescue of a person who was deprived of his liberty in a safe house in Culiacán led to the seizure of even the fuselage of a private service aircraft, Sinaloa ministerial authorities reported.
They reported that personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) through the Specialized Anti-Kidnapping Unit (UEA), carried out the search warrant in a property located in Colonia La Lima, where a person was kept deprived of his liberty. , originally from the state of Nuevo León.
“The victim was freed in field work coordinated with elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), during tasks aimed at order and protection of citizens. While military personnel kept the perimeter under siege, UEA personnel raided the property where the victim was, who through deception had been brought to this city in order to carry out commercial work,” the Prosecutor’s Office explained in a statement.
“The monitoring and investigative actions initiated by the Specialized Anti-Kidnapping Prosecutor’s Office of the state of Nuevo León, and through collaborative actions with the Attorney General’s Office of the state of Sinaloa, resulted in the affected person being rescued in a surprise manner by military authorities, supported by the UEA, who strengthened the actions of the Attorney General’s Office and by means of a court order, the property was searched where various devices were seized, presumably for the production of synthetic drugs, as well as parts of an aircraft.” , he detailed.
The fuselage of the plane with registration XB-JPI, without wings or landing gear, was removed from the home and transported on cranes by ministerial agents.
“At the insured home, investigations were carried out consisting of the search for traces, managing to confiscate industrial equipment for the production of chemical substances,” he added.
He indicated that the seized items remained at the disposal of the Public Ministry Specialized in Combating the Crime of Kidnapping, personnel who continue with the investigations aimed at achieving the identification of the alleged captors and determining the commission of other crimes that could be constituted.
