Catarina Guerra appears in 2nd place, with 25% of valid voting intentions; the margin of error is 3 percentage points
The mayor of Boa Vista, Arthur Henrique (MDB), numerically leads the race for city mayor, with 72% of valid voting intentions. In other words, if the elections were held today, he would be re-elected in the 1st round.
In 2nd place is the state deputy, Catarina Guerra (União Brasil), with 25% of the votes. The results are from research Quaest hired by Amazon Networkaffiliated with TV Globoand released this Saturday (5.Oct.2024). Here’s the complete of the research (PDF – 979 kB).
Here is the stimulated scenario for the 1st round in valid votes:
- Arthur Henrique (MDB): 72%;
- Catarina Guerra (Union): 25%;
- Mauro Makashima (PV): 2%;
- Lincoln Freire (PSOL): 1%.
The research was carried out by Quaest from October 4th to 5th, 2024. 904 people aged 16 or over were interviewed in Boa Vista. The confidence interval is 95%. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus. The survey is registered with the TSE under number RR-09394/2024.
The research cost R$150,064 and was paid for by Amazon Networkaffiliated with TV Globo.
