RAS: Kashpirovsky’s methods are absolute pseudoscience
The methods used by Anatoly Kashpirovsky have nothing to do with science. For this agency RIA Novosti indicated by the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN).
“This cannot be treated as anything other than absolute pseudoscience. There can be no two opinions here. All this is from the category of absolute fantasy and pseudoscientific theories,” the academicians pointed out.
On October 4, Kashpirovsky demanded that Doctor of Sciences, psycholinguist Tatyana Chernigovskaya pay 15 thousand dollars (about 1.4 million rubles) because she did not recognize his work as scientific. The 77-year-old scientist, after resuming the work of the psychic, citing the words of brain researcher Natalya Bekhtereva, stated that the specialist, while studying Kashpirovsky’s activities, did not find anything scientific in his work. Representatives of Kashpirovsky demanded that Chernigovskaya publicly apologize for her words within three days and publish a refutation.
Kashpirovsky became famous in 1989, when he hosted several episodes of his own program on the Central Television channel. Then he allegedly treated TV viewers for various diseases. At the end of September 2024, he returned with new magical sessions.
