David Hayter returned to voice Snake: the actor published a post on
Is there a new Metal Gear Solid on the horizon? Or, better yet, a new project linked to the Konami series? We know that the dialogues in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater are the original ones and therefore Hayter did not re-engrave them, so what exactly is he referring to?
Upon closer inspection, there are three possibilities. The first is that Hayter lent his voice to some type of promotional material linked to the remake, for example a trailer or a television commercial, reprising that role after a long time.
The second possibility is that the actor voiced Snake on the occasion of an unofficial cameo that should find a place within the Sonic Villains animated fan filmrecently presented.
The third possibility is that an extra scene has been inserted in Metal Gear Solid Delta, or (but here we go a little further) that Konami is already recording the dialogues for a possible return of the franchise.
Another great remake?
In light of the excellent ratings Silent Hill 2 received, it seems that Konami’s current projects are bearing the desired results and we therefore imagine that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will also be able to satisfy the expectations of the many fans of the series created by Hideo Kojima.
Considering the large catalog of important intellectual properties in the hands of the Japanese company, this is all excellent news and bodes well for a future in which Konami can convincingly relaunch its old brands.
