Verstappen on track
Formula 1 will not return to the track before the weekend of October 20th for the United States Grand Prix and the month’s break offers drivers the opportunity for a few extra days of vacation compared to the traditional calendar. Or to find free time to cultivate other passions. This is the case of Max Verstappenwhich during the week was involved in an intense test session of GT3 category cars.
Verstappen.com Racing at Mugello
The three-time F1 world champion described the test and published a gallery of photos from the day on his social channels. The tests took place on the Mugello track in rainy conditions or partly damp asphalt and saw the Dutchman busy with the team’s insignia Verstappen.com Racing. And that is the team founded by Max himself, which races in both real and virtual competitions (in this case in collaboration with the Redline team).
Ferrari, Audi and Aston Martin
Together with the 27-year-old, in the photos published on Instagram it is possible to see dad Jos – who races with the family team in the Belgian rally championship – and Max’s friend, Thierry Vermeulen. The young Dutch driver is the son of Verstappen’s manager, Raymond Vermeulen, and competes in the DTM championship again with Max’s team. Among the cars on track also Audi R8, Aston Martin Vantage and the Ferrari 296 GT3the car currently used by Vermeulen in the DTM.
