Governor Maru Campos announced the Bicentennial edition of the Chihuahua International Festival (FICH), which will take place from October 10 to 26 within the framework of the 200 years of the founding of the free and sovereign state of Chihuahua.
This event will include more than 60 free activities, including concerts by nationally and internationally renowned artists, as well as various performances by different theater companies.
The festival will be held in collaboration with the International Festival of the City of Chihuahua (FICUU) and will extend to several municipalities, including Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, Parral, Delicias and Ojinaga.
Maru Campos emphasized the importance of access to culture as an essential human right for the development of the community. “We have talented artists who are passionate about sharing their art, so we join forces to reach more Chihuahuans,” said the president.
Likewise, he invited the population to join this cultural celebration, highlighting that “together we build a vibrant state rich in culture and tradition. Let’s celebrate the Bicentennial and the pride of being Chihuahuans,” he concluded.
