PS5 Pro will arrive in November and one of its promises is the possibility of playing “enhanced” versions of various video games already available and, we suppose, the support to “pro” mode for future video games. The question many have asked themselves, however, is whether i Microsoft games – which is now a big publisher also on PlayStation – will they support the new console or if the company prefers not to invest extra energy on an “exclusive” version for the rival console.
We don’t have a wide-ranging answer, but we do have an initial answer for a specific game: Diablo 4.
Blizzard’s words on PS5 Pro support for Diablo 4
Via Twitter, Rod Fergusson – GM of the Diablo franchise at Blizzard – responded to a user asking if Diablo 4 will get an update for PlayStation 5 Pro. Fergusson then responded: “I’ve been getting this question a lot recently and I’m happy to say that Diablo 4 and Vessel of Hatred will actually be PS5 Pro Enhanced! I’m very proud of our team who worked hard to make this happen.”
THE Diablo 4 players those who wish to purchase a PS5 Pro can therefore rest assured: the dungeon crawler role-playing game will support the Sony platform. Can we perhaps also assume that in general the Microsoft teams will try to give their support to the new Japanese console?
While waiting for further confirmation, we would like to point out a video of Diablo 4 that talks about the changes to the progression coming with update 2.0.
