Italian Roberto Mancini, coach of the Saudi national football team, announced the “Green” list in preparation for the third and fourth rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
On the tenth of October, the “Green” will host the Japanese national team, and on the fifteenth of the same month, it will host the Bahrain national team.
The two confrontations will be held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
Mancini’s list included 28 players to join the camp, and their names were as follows: Ahmed Al-Kassar, Muhammad Al-Yami, Raghed Najjar, Hamed Youssef, Hassan Kadish, Meshal Khairallah, Aoun Al-Salouli, Ali Lagami, Hassan Al-Timbukti, Rayan Hamed, Saud Abdel Hamid, Hussein Al-Subayani, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Abdullah Al-Maliki, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Musab Al-Jawir, Hamid Al-Ghamdi, Ali Al-Asmari, Nasser Al-Dosari, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Muhammad Maran, Salem Al-Dosari, Abdul Rahman Ghareeb, Ayman Yahya, Marwan Al-Sahafi, Abdullah Radif, Firas Al-Braikan and Saleh Al-Shehri.
The Saudi national team will hold a preparatory camp in Jeddah, starting next Sunday.
The Saudi team occupies second place in Group C with four points, two points ahead of leaders Japan, one point behind third-placed Bahrain, two points ahead of fourth-placed Indonesia and three behind Australia, while China is at the bottom of the standings without points.
