During statements at the White House, Biden was asked, “Do you agree with Israel launching strikes targeting Iranian oil facilities?” He replied, “We are having discussions about this. I think it will be…” without finishing his sentence.
The US President was also asked before leaving the White House heading to the southern United States, “What are the plans to allow Israel to respond to Iran’s missile attack?”
He replied, “First, we do not allow Israel to take any step. We advise Israel. Nothing will happen today,” referring to a possible Israeli response to Iran after the missile attack launched by Iran on Israel.
Israel and Iran vowed to respond to Tehran’s launch on Tuesday of about 200 missiles towards the Hebrew state in retaliation for the assassination of its two allies, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, and the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
