Governor Maru Campos represented Chihuahua at a reception organized by the United States Embassy, where she met with Jill Biden, first lady of that country, and her entourage. The event took place before the inauguration of the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.
During the meeting at the diplomatic headquarters, Campos presented the natural wonders and the tourism and business opportunities that Chihuahua offers, especially in the context of company relocation. He also emphasized his commitment to collaborating to build a more prosperous future for all the residents of the entity.
In addition, the governor exchanged impressions with her colleagues from Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, and from Oaxaca, Salomón Jara Cruz, thus strengthening the ties of cooperation for the development of the three regions.
U.S. officials present included Xavier Becerra, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services; Isabel Casillas Guzmán, administrator of the Small Business Administration; Senator Chris Murphy and Regina Romero, mayor of Tucson, Arizona, among others.
