Rauma|A child riding a bicycle was injured when hit by a car.
Car would hit a primary school-aged child in Rauma on Tuesday, says the Southwest Finland Police Department in its press release.
The child was injured and was transported from the scene by ambulance for treatment. The child was on the move on a bicycle.
The accident happened in Rauma Uotila Vanhatie, at the intersection of Sarkontie. The alarm about the incident was made at around 1:20 p.m.
The police are investigating the matter as a gross endangerment of traffic safety. The investigation is in the early stages.
