The Roads and Transport Authority launched its new five-year health, safety and environment plan 2024-2028, through which it aims to enhance the leadership level in following the best global occupational safety and health standards in all its projects and services. This step comes within the Authority’s efforts to provide a positive work environment in accordance with the highest standards for employees and users of its services, in line with the third goal of the Authority’s strategic plan, which is to enhance transportation safety, provide a safe environment for the community, support the integration of means of transportation, ensure safe and flexible transportation, and enhance business continuity in Emirate of Dubai.
The five-year plan includes more than 133 specific initiatives to be implemented over a period of 5 years. These initiatives will focus on several main axes in their implementation, the most prominent of which are: applying artificial intelligence and employing Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies during monitoring and managing health, safety and environment in the Authority’s activities, with a focus on… To ensure continuity of efforts to reach the highest levels of safety.
