The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City added a new achievement to its record of global achievements, represented by winning three global awards within the international competition for best practices, which was recently held in New Zealand, in a step that reflects its leadership in the field of creativity and innovation, and its commitment to providing the best, and continuous improvement of services and global competition with various participating entities. The Abu Dhabi City Municipality entered the competition alongside the most prestigious local and international institutions, where all submitted applications were evaluated by prominent experts through the IBPC Best Practices Certification System, and the results resulted in the Noor Abu Dhabi Project – Phase I and II – winning in the Asset Management Award category. The municipality is the only entity in the world to win in this category in the tenth session of the competition this year.
The Noor Abu Dhabi project – the first and second phases – also received a “7-star rating” in the International Best Practice category, which is the highest and most prestigious classification in the world in this category, as the Abu Dhabi City Municipality presented a unique and distinctive model for its applications compatible with sustainability and rationalization of resource consumption. And energy through the implementation of the “Noor Abu Dhabi” project, which aimed to replace traditional lighting lamps with energy-saving (LED) lamps, contribute to reducing carbon emissions, and achieving targeted sustainability.
The municipality indicated that obtaining a 7-star rating constitutes a source of pride and pride, and a commitment to providing the best, continuously improving services, and enhancing the municipality’s leadership role as a leading institution in community service and development.
The “Innovation System” in the Abu Dhabi City Municipality also received a “5-star rating” in the Organization-Wide Innovation Award category.
