Two fourth places for The Maniac
The encore failed Andrea Iannone on Sunday in Aragon after the splendid success obtained in Race-1, a victory that put an end to a drought that had lasted since the success achieved in MotoGP in 2016 with Ducati at the Red Bull Ring in Austria at the end of a beautiful tug-of-war with his boxing partner Andrea Dovizioso.
In Sunday’s races, The Maniac had to settle for two fourth places behind the two official Ducatis of Alvaro Bautista and Nicolò Bulega and the BMW of the returning Toprak Razgatlioglu: “We did the best we could with the conditions we found. The higher temperatures compared to yesterday affected the performance, but I still fought for the podium until the end and I am happy with my performance. A very positive week that comes at the end of a season in which there were both moments of difficulty, but also great satisfaction. After yesterday’s victory I received a lot of love from the people around me and the fans. I’m living a dream nowI want to live and enjoy this incredible moment“, the words of Iannone.
The team manager Denis Sacchetti is satisfied with the team’s performance: “I am satisfied with this weekend, not only for Saturday’s success, I believe we achieved the best possible result, both the team and Andrea brought out 100% of what we had available. We are certainly ready for a good end to the season, two good tracks await us and I think we could enjoy good races.”
