Hezbollah said in a statement that Qaouk was born in 1964, and served as the party’s organizational official for the southern region from 1991 until 2010.
Qaouk also served as Deputy Executive Council Officer in Hezbollah until 2018.
Qaouk was responsible for the party’s preventive security unit until the date of his assassination.
On Sunday, the Israeli army announced the liquidation of Qawouk, in a strike carried out by army warplanes.
Hezbollah also confirmed in a statement today, Monday, the killing of its leader, Ali Karaki, in the Israeli strike on Haret Hreik in the southern suburb of Beirut on Friday.
According to the Israeli army, the attack on the party’s central headquarters on Friday led to the killing of 20 other people in addition to the party’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.
