Shot: a pensioner from the DPR contacted her son, who considered her dead, 10 years later
A pensioner who lived in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) got in touch with her son, who believed she was dead for ten years. The woman and her husband were taken from Krasnohorivka in 2014 to Ukrainian territory – to Novogrodovka, where they remained until the liberation of the city by Russian troops, reports Telegram-Shot channel.
During the move ten years ago, the husband and wife lost contact with relatives and lost their home. Their son lives in Krasnodar; he believed that his parents were no longer alive.
The Russian Armed Forces liberated Novogrodovka in September this year. Then the pensioner’s story was made public, volunteers were able to find her son’s contacts and arranged a call.
Now the husband and wife are in a temporary accommodation center (TAP) in Yasinovataya, where they were provided with assistance. The woman dreams of returning home to Krasnogorovka and seeing her son.
It was previously reported that a stolen boy in the United States was found alive after 70 years. His niece found him using a DNA test.
