A resistance movement in Russia is said to have killed a Russian colonel in coordination with Ukrainian intelligence.
MOSCOW – Colonel Alexei Kolomeitsev, leader of the Russian Defense Ministry’s 924th State Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, is said to have been killed in a special operation near Moscow. Ukrainian military intelligence confirmed the successful killing of the Russian in an operation on the night of September 27th. The operation is said to have been carried out in coordination with local resistance movements and the Ukrainian secret service United24 Media reported.
Kolomeitsev trained for the Ukraine war Russian soldiers in the use of unmanned drones such as the Iranian Shahed kamikaze drone. An anonymous source commented to the news service RBC Ukraine: “The resistance movement is spreading and increasing its activities across Russia and beyond, as we have already warned. Every Russian war criminal and person involved in aggression against Ukraine is our target, regardless of rank, age, gender or location.”

It goes on to say: “We will eliminate anyone who has Ukrainian blood on their hands until the Russian regime ends the war and answers for all its crimes.” The attack on the colonel was not confirmed by the Russian side. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry also posted a photo on Telegram showing the pixelated face of a man lying motionless on the ground. Apparently this is supposed to be Kolomeitsev. The man’s identity cannot be independently confirmed.

Regarding the group’s membership, the anonymous commander said: “I cannot give you an exact number because this information is classified.” But thousands of people are said to have joined the movement so far and the number is constantly growing.
