In an official statement by the Israeli army, on Sunday, it was announced that Nabil Qaouq, the official of the Preventive Security Unit and a member of Hezbollah’s Central Council, had been eliminated.
The Israeli army said that the strike was carried out by army warplanes.
Qaouk was considered close to the most prominent leaders of the Hezbollah organization, and “was directly involved in promoting terrorist plans against Israel and its citizens, even in recent days,” according to the statement.
Qawouk had joined Hezbollah during the 1980s, and previously worked as the Deputy South Region Official on behalf of the Executive Council, and the South Region Official and Vice President of the Executive Council.
