Siluanov named social support and defense as priorities in the formation of the Russian budget
The head of the Russian Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov listed the priorities in forming the federal budget during a meeting of the Russian government. His words are quoted by TASS.
As the minister explained, this concerns social support for citizens, financial support for defense expenses, and support for the families of participants in the special military operation. He named technological leadership and expansion of infrastructure as another important priority.
Siluanov also indicated that the Russian budget deficit over the next three years will not exceed one percent of GDP.
In turn, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the Russian budget revenues will continue to grow – in 2025 they will increase by almost 12 percent, to 40.296 trillion rubles. The head of government clarified that the preparation of the country’s main financial document is currently being completed, the three-year budget and all accompanying documents will be submitted to the State Duma.
