Poddubny: Commander of Ukrainian naval guard ship was liquidated
The commander of the Ukrainian naval guard ship and captain of the third rand Vladimir Kovalchuk died after a strike by the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by the military correspondent of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Yevgeny Poddubny in his Telegram channel.
“Kovalchuk was probably killed as a result of the recent missile strike by the Russian Armed Forces on port infrastructure in the Odessa region,” the war correspondent wrote.
Earlier, the coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, Sergei Lebedev, reported that Russian troops had struck a warehouse with shells of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the port of Odessa in the Peresyp area. According to him, the strike hit a warehouse that “was literally loaded with shells and missiles yesterday.”
