Concerts|According to Live Nation’s promoter, Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium was booked at the time of Timberlake’s tour.
This spring released new music Justin Timberlake will perform next summer in Tallinn as part of his world tour.
The pop star will perform on June 9 on the Tallinn singing stage. Timberlake has not performed in Estonia before.
Live Nation’s promoter responsible for Finland and the Baltic countries Scott Lavender confirms to HS that they tried to get Timberlake to perform in Finland as well. However, a suitable venue could not be found. For example, the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki was booked at the time of Timberlake’s tour.
Iron Maiden’s concert will be held at the Olympic Stadium on June 16. No other June events have been announced so far.
Lavender currently sees Finland’s opportunities in the event market as slightly weaker compared to the Baltic countries. In Finland, the arenas are big, but there are few options of different sizes.
“We organize a lot of events of various sizes in Finland, but for example the Kaisaniemi park is temporarily closed and several arenas are booked”, Lavender elaborates.
Timberlake appeared In Finland, for the first and so far the last time in the Helsinki hall, i.e. in the former Hartwall arena, in the spring of 2014.
