Investigative Committee: Mother of Children Who Died from Poisoning Begins to Be Questioned in Krasnoyarsk Krai
Investigators have begun questioning the mother of four children who were poisoned after dinner in the village of Krasnaya Sopka. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of poisoning under Part 3 of Article 238 (“Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements and that have resulted in the death of two or more persons through negligence”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the Investigative Committee questioned the owner of the store where the family, hospitalized with severe poisoning, bought groceries.
A family of six was poisoned by pelmeni bought at a store in the village of Krasnaya Sopka. Four children – a six-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy – did not survive, their parents are in hospital.
