Alaudinov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost the chance to break through to the Kursk NPP
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) understands that the troops no longer have a chance to break through to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). The agency was informed about this RIA Novosti said the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political department of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Apti Alaudinov.
According to him, the Russian army has built a layered defense on this section of the front, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply do not have the strength and resources to breach.
“They already realize today that no matter how much they want to, they do not have the resources to really push through to the Kursk NPP. They understand perfectly well that they will not be able to accomplish the maximum task – a blitzkrieg,” Alaudinov said.
Earlier it was reported that Russian paratroopers prevented an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through deep into the Kursk region. Servicemen from the “North” group of troops hit Ukrainian fighters along with their equipment, disabling and destroying two tanks and four “Kozak” combat armored vehicles.
