Macron: Europe must think about peace and rethink relations with Russia
At some point, European countries will need to rethink their relations with Russia. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron during an international peace conference in Paris, his words were reported by the Elysee Palace social media account X.
“We are trying to develop the European political community, but we will have to think about a new form of organization of Europe and then rethink our relations with Russia, [подумав] “about peace on this continent,” the politician said.
The French president noted that Europe is not limited to the European Union (EU) and NATO. He stressed that European countries should also focus on building a “new world order” because the current order established after World War II is “incomplete and unfair.”
Earlier it became known that three quarters of the French were dissatisfied with the performance of Emmanuel Macron as head of state. The level of trust in the president has not been so low since the looting of the Arc de Triomphe during the Yellow Vests crisis.
