Ciudad Juarez.– In a joint initiative with the State Government, Juárez Bus has benefited 316 students from Colegio de Bachilleres (Cobach) number 6 with preferential transportation cards.
These cards, delivered through the Mobile Assistance Center (CAM), offer students a 50 percent discount on their boarding fare, facilitating their access to safe and modern transportation.
The delivery of the support took place on the 18th and 19th of the month, with the presence of the CAM at the educational institution.
During the visit, it was reported that preferential cards must be renewed at the beginning of each school year to ensure that students continue to enjoy the benefits throughout the academic year. This effort seeks to support family finances and encourage the use of public transportation among students.
The students were grateful for this initiative.
“It is a great help for us as students. It is very cheap and the buses are safe and comfortable. The journey is very fast, I feel confident that I will arrive safely at my destination. It takes me 30 minutes to get home, and on the way I can get ahead on my homework or distract myself with my cell phone,” said one of the students.
Another student highlighted the safety and modernity of the service.
“I feel safe because there are guards at each station and the buses have cameras. I also like that the buses are modern, I travel with air conditioning and are very comfortable. They also have seats reserved for people with disabilities.”
