A night spent with friends laughing and joking turned into a tragedy. At the Cerchio crossroads, Mattia Fracassi22 years old, originally from San Benedetto dei Marsi, lost his life in a dramatic road accident. The young man was returning home, together with two other friends, after an evening spent in Avezzano. The car in which they were traveling overturned, definitively shattering his dreams and his future.

The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the authorities. The 118 health workers of Pescina, the Carabinieri and the firefighters intervened immediately on the scene, but there was nothing that could be done for Mattia. He was not driving the vehicle, and fate wanted that evening to end in the cruelest way.

Mattia Fracassian only child, was a young man with many dreams and plans. Just in these days he was planning a trip abroad, eager to explore the world and live new experiences. But that future that seemed so close was suddenly interrupted, leaving an immense void in the lives of his loved ones and the entire community.
