The web version of Odnoklassniki has become accessible to visually impaired users
The web version of the popular social network Odnoklassniki has been adapted for visually impaired people. Now such users will be able to use the social network thanks to OK’s support for working with special screen access programs, or screen readers, the company’s press service told Lenta.ru.
“They reproduce the contents of the screen, due to which blind people perceive the interface and content inside the social network by ear. Most of the elements in the web version of the social network received signatures in all languages available in OK,” the company explained.
Thus, blind users were able to read the feed, put reactions, leave comments under publications and exchange messages.
